We encourage you to listen to these messages by tuning in to your local Black Star station or by downloading them free from our website to share with your family, workplace, school, or community group.
These messages aim to:
• Raise awareness about how technology can be used to control, intimidate, or harm women.
• Encourage women to seek support from trusted family members, friends, and community leaders.
• Help communities recognise the signs of technology-facilitated abuse and respond in safe and supportive ways.
• Promote the rights of all women to safety, privacy, and respect when using phones, social media, and digital technology.
Together, we can create safer spaces for women and stand against all forms of technology-based abuse.
This project was funded through the eSafety Commissioner’s Preventing Tech-Based Abuse of Women Grants Program, an Australian Government initiative.
